Source: iRozhlas.cz (CZ) - As expected, Katalin Novák, a long-time member of the Fidesz ruling party, has become the new Hungarian president. She was elected by parliament on Thursday, in which Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's party prevails. Novák is the first woman at the head of Hungary, at the age of 44 she will also be the youngest of the current heads of state. The former Minister for Family Affairs received 137 of the 188 votes cast on Thursday, the APA agency reported.
