Source: Hospodářské noviny (CZ) - On 19 July, ten politicians and public officials convened near Bratislava to participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony. They inaugurated the opening of one half of the planned expressway bypassing the Slovak capital, one of the largest development projects in Central Europe built as a public-private partnership project. The project fills a major gap in the infrastructure of not only Slovakia but the entire region - after the second part of the project is completed in a few months, the congested traffic route passing through Bratislava, which is used also by Czech trucks heading to Hungary, will be significantly relieved.
